DAY 1 | Arrival – Free Day In Hanoi

A private car and guide will welcome you to Hanoi, Vietnam and transfer you to your hotel for relaxation and check-in. Enjoy the night to have a look around the area on your own.

DAY 2 | Hanoi City Tour

Your trip will start with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the Mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Close to this site is the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origin dates back to the foundation of Hanoi a thousand year ago. Your tour of Hanoi continues with a trip to the remarkable Temple of Literature, well known as Vietnam’s first university.

Have lunch at local restaurant.

Visit the Museum of Ethnology then on to Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake. Enjoy a cycle excursion (on cyclo) through the bustling Old Quarter streets. A bewildering maze of shopping streets and restaurants with an amazing assortment of architecture – traditional tube houses, countless pagodas, artisans’ workshops and cottages, colonial houses and modern concrete edifices. You’ll enjoy walk around the peaceful Hoan Kiem Lake and through the less peaceful Old Quarter.

DAY 3 | Hanoi – Ha Long Bay


In the morning [08:30am], the driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the pier in Ha Long Bay.

12:00 – 12:30: Embark at Hon Gai International harbor.

12:30 – 13:00: Check-in. Cruise begins with welcome drink and safety briefing.

13:30 – 14:30: Set menu lunch served in the outdoor dining room (depending on the weather) while cruising into magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay; admire the fascinating limestone karsts on the way.

15:00 – 17:00: Cruise to Vung Dang – Cong Dam area: Swim or relax on a white sandy beach; Go kayaking through the mystery Karst Mountains in Vung Dang area.

18:00 – 20:30: Return to Dragon Legend Cruise to refresh yourself in Mineral Seawater Pool, Fitness Room or the Spa and Massage Services before dinner.

20:30: Spend the rest of your evening relaxing, talking with the on board team, watching movies, listening to music… Overnight in Tra San area

DAY 4 | Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Hue

06:30 – 07:00: Start a new day with a Tai Chi demonstration on the sun-deck.

07:00 – 07:30: Take in the morning view of the Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy breakfast in the fresh air.

7:30 – 09:45: Cruise to Cong Do area to explore the well- hidden Thien Canh Son Cave.

10:00: Check out your cabin.

10:45 – 11:30: Enjoy a Buffet while cruising towards the harbor.

11:30 – 12:00: Disembark.

Then, our driver will pick you up and transfer to Tuan Chau for your seaplane to Hanoi airport connect flight to Hue.

DAY 5 | Hue Citadel – Perfume River

After breakfast at the hotel, at 08:00 the tour guide will take you to the Perfume River for the boat trip. Stop at Thien Mu pagoda for a visit. Its beautiful landscape and holy atmosphere will give you a pleasant feeling of the day.

Get back the boat to the King Tombs of Tu Duc, Khai Dinh who was famous as a poet of the Nguyen dynasty in early 19 century. The Tombs were well designed with green hills, lotus ponds and ornate type of Buildings built together. The King used these tombs before he died as his second home where most of his great works were composed.

Then, we'll visit the unique Royal Arena where Tiger and Elephant fights were held by the Kings of the Nguyen Dynasty.

Have lunch at Ancient Hue restaurant.

After lunch, continue your car drive to Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. You will also stop to visit the Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and the Forbidden Purple City. This guided tour gives you a deep understanding about the King’s philosophy of geomancy and how this affected royal life.

DAY 6 | Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An

At 09:30 in the morning enjoy breakfast at the Hotel and then we will leave Hue to Hoi An via Da Nang. After passing Lang Co beach, you will drive 20 km on Sea Cloud Pass (Hai Van Pass). On the north to south nation highway, the Hai Van Pass boosts an impressive landscape. This is the highest pass in Vietnam (500 m above sea level). The rugged pass is the final section of the Truong Son Range stretching to the sea. Hai Van means "Sea Clouds", since the peak of the mountain is in the clouds while its foot is close to the sea.

Continue drive to Hoi An and enjoy your lunch local restaurant.

On arrival in Hoi An, driver will transfer to hotel/resort for relaxation and check in.

DAY 7 | Hoi An City Tour

Start your Hoi An city tour with a boat trip on Thu Bon River to the Cua Dai estuary; it will take you to an island called Cam Kim where you can visit a family traditional work of wooden furniture and sculpture. Have an easy work around the village to meet local farmer and school kids.

Continue the boat trip to the estuary where river meets the sea which got amazing view and beautiful fishing nets. Back to town for the city tour on foot or cyclo to visit the Fukien Assembly hall, the finest and oldest Chinese temple in town with ornate architecture and beautiful garden.

Walk to visit the landmark of Hoi An - the Japanese covered bridge - and an old house called Phung Hung. Enjoy your free time at the ancient town in the evening. There plenty of bars and restaurants in town will please all your liking.

DAY 9 | Hoi An – Da Nang – Saigon – City Tour Halfday

In the morning enjoy breakfast at the Hotel and then we will leave Hoi An to Da Nang

Then, transfer to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Saigon and transfer to hotel for take a short rest before half day city tour in the afternoon.

14:00, You will take in the highlights of Ho Chi Minh City. The first stop will be the War Remnants Museum. This museum is a collection of the machinery, weapons, graphic photos, and documentation of Vietnam's wars with the both the French and Americans.

After the museum, you’ll visit the Reunification Palace. It was here that the American led war ended on April 30 1975, when the North Vietnam Army invaded the Palace forcing the president to resign. From here, visit two of Ho Chi Minh's finest examples of French colonial architecture: the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Then, get back hotel relax and enjoy rest of the day at your leisure.

DAY 10 | Cu Chi Tunnels – Bustling Markets

09:00 In the morning, we drive to Cu Chi district. You will have a short film on the history of Cu Chi tunnels before walking in to the forest where the Tunnels located.

There are several choices for distance of tunnel which you can crawl in. The shortest one is 30 meters and longest one is 100 meters. In total the system measures 250 km, connecting several villages together.

After experiencing the tunnels, take a break with some hot green tea boiled in pandan leaves and try with some steamed tapioca in the forest.

Then you will meet with a special guest in a private conference room. Mr. Nam Chia lived and fought in the tunnels for 12 years from 1963 to 1975 as a guerrilla. After national liberation in 1975, he was awarded a temporary captaincy.

12:00 Tour guide and car/driver transfer back to Saigon Then, we have lunch at local restaurant.

14:00 PM in the afternoon, after lunch, tour will transfer you to Ben Thanh market or Saigon Square to do a bit of shopping, troll around the market and taste various kinds of local dishes. If time permits, you can take a walk through Russian Market or western malls such as Parkson. Then, back to hotel, relax at your leisure.

DAY 11 | Saigon – Ben Tre Mango Home Homestay Package

Tour start / pickup time: 08:00 from Hotel.


Depart from Saigon around 8am and head south to Ben Tre province, famous for its coconut production and quiet, peaceful waterways.

On arrival, meet with your guide and take a short walk through a local village to enjoy the landscape of local houses and gardens. Upon reaching the local pier, board your Mango Cruise and enjoy the river views as you cruise through the smaller tributaries of Ben Tre province.

As you arrive in a neighboring village, electric cart will transfer you through small village pathways with lush vegetation. Take a short bicycle trip to the house of Ms. Phuong, her family produces a rice wine spirit from sticky rice. Learn the process behind the product and chat with the local family. Cycle to the house of Mr. Hoang who is the village producer for incense sticks.

Continue onward to a quiet canal and take a rowing boat through the lush vegetation. The cruise will then stop at a family owned Coconut Processing factory, learn how every ounce of the coconut is utilized and the many uses of Ben Tre’s most famous export.

After our team rows you through the quiet canal, reconnect with your Day Cruiser and enjoy a cruise to a private riverside restaurant. It is time for you to relax and enjoy a five course lunch of local specialties, some grown organically in Mango Home garden! Relax and have a walk around the lush garden setting. Check-in to your room at 2pm and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure.

In the early evening prepare to join the cooking demonstration with your guide.

DAY 12 | Mango Home


Breakfast will be served at the restaurant and then you will take our beautiful day cruiser to Tai Phu canal. You will cycle in a very quiet area and eventually reach the My Long market by crossing the bridge.

Enjoy a walk through the market, which offers everything from fresh seafood, meat, vegetables and even dry goods and clothing. You will also have a chance to see a family owned shrimp farm.

Cycle to Phong Nam village to see a local Cao Dai Temple and learn about their traditions and beliefs. Then you will make a stop at the local house of Mr. Sau Tuong, a former Viet Cong soldier who served in fighting the Khmer Rouge. He and his wife live off of making rice paper. Watch how his wife makes this rice paper and have an opportunity to try it yourself! Return to Mango Home and freshen up before enjoying a five-course lunch.

After lunch, you will enjoy the remainder of the day by relaxing and unwinding in one of our nice sitting areas, or perhaps in a hammock, tucked away with a new book. A five course dinner will be provided in the evening at your desired time.

DAY 13 | Mango Home – Saigon

Pickup time: 12:00 from Mango Home


Awaken to breakfast in the morning at the main house enjoy a day at your leisure. Perhaps it will be of interest to borrow a bicycle to explore the area on your own, or enjoy time at the swimming pool.

At 12 noon it will be time to check-out of the room and transfer to the meeting point where your car will be waiting to return you to Saigon.

DAY 14 | Saigon Fly To Home
