On arrival, meet with your guide and take a short walk through a local village to enjoy the landscape of local houses and gardens. Upon reaching the local pier, board your Mango Cruise and enjoy the river views as you cruise through the smaller tributaries of Ben Tre province. As you arrive in a neighboring village, you and your guide will begin cycling through small village pathways with lush vegetation. The cruise will first stop at a coconut processing operation that is owned by a local family. Learn about the many uses of coconut. Start with a bicycle trip in the natural beauty of the coconut kingdom. The cycling portion is about 4 kilometers. Then cross the river to a coconut farm and enjoy coconut fresh from the tree. Return to the cruise and bicycle reach a lush quiet canal. Board the rowing sampan, and be paddled by a personalized rower trip to discover the maze of small canals. Arrive at Mrs. Huong’s home. Her family lives on fishing, shrimp and farming. Enjoy the tropical fruits and honey tea in her garden before taking a Xe Loi to a local pier to rendezvous with your cruise. Then cruise to a private riverside restaurant. It is time for you to relax and enjoy a set- menu lunch of local specialties, some grown organically in Mango Home Garden! Relax and have a walk around the lush garden setting. Check-in to your room at 2pm and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure. In the early evening prepare to join the cooking demonstration with your guide. Overnight will be spent at Mango Home.
